Wanna get into print?

Keep a watch on Starbucks stock. It’s likely going up. I’ve been up to my eyeballs and cranked on coffeezilla lately, which is why I haven’t posted too much in recent weeks. Gee, I guess this marketing stuff works. I’m booked up through at least the end of the year.

Here’s a little news flash for y’all. Ilise Benun’s at it again, laboring over a hot keyboard, drafting her upcoming book, Stop Pushing Me Around: A Workplace Guide for the Timid, Shy and Less Assertive (Career Press, June 2006). As a card-carrying member of the Hermits’ Union, I’ll be chomping at the bit to grab this tome when it hits the bookshelves.

Alas, I digress. Ilise has started up a blog, aptly titled, “Stop Pushing Me Around.” She’s using it to toss out ideas and questions related to the book’s content. Her first query is, “Do you think it's possible for people who consider themselves shy to change that and what would enable them (you?) to do that? “

So, here’s your opportunity to maybe have your name forever immortalized in print. I recommend you either bookmark her blog or add it to your news reader’s subscriptions. Keep an eye on Ilise’s blog. When you see a question that’s right up your alley, or have a juicy comment, chime in with your poignant prose.
